The casino was cheaper than the 330, the Sheraton was cheaper than the 355, etc. In 1958 the only Kalamazoo Gibson made epiphones were the cheaper Gibson copies.
They were priced the same as they were before the sale of epiphone and were simply clearing out the back inventory Gibson bought. The 1958 models included a lot of guitars that were simply the left over pre-sale Philadelphia epiphone inventory.
